BATHROOM SUITE WITH CRYSTAL VANITY UNIT. The creation of this project was an enormous challenge. This commissioning client demanded high-end luxury bathroom furniture with an unusual level of transparency, surrounded by mirrored walls.
We have often been asked to create unusual designs for our clients, but in this case we were challenged like never before. The difficulties of making vanity units in crystal seemed insurmountable, but with the help of our team of designers and in collaboration with our technical department, as well as our cutting-edge technology, we were able to complete this project and achieve all the design goals, by producing all items on design and custom made.
At this point, however, a simple porcelain sink in such an elegant product seemed unthinkale, so we designed a crystal basin which enhanced the beauty of the unit as a whole, the washbasin 7066.
The result was so exciting that we decided we also had to consider how to put these products into production, and within the shortest possible time, so that we could launch them at the 2014 Salone del Bagno fair! The first sample was displayed in Milan and the success was truly exciting: finally a vanity unit that represented the ultimate in luxury! Something never seen before in a “mass production”.
Due to this success, we immediately decided to design other larger sizes, to greater emphasise the beauty of the product, so that three sizes were then available, furthermore leaving open the option of intermediate sizes, depending on required needs and space.
This is a vanity unit with very simple lines, but very luxurious at the same time, due to extraordinary materials used, and truly one of a kind. It is both imperceptible and transparent and will therefore fit perfectly into modern and classic settings, a typical feature of the B&C collections, but even more eclectic in this case.
